iPod users would definitely love this speaker dock with FM radio from ALtec lansing (Altec Lansing InMotion IM600). What you need to do is just put in your iPod device in the front panel(dock) and you're ready to enjoy your favorite music.
The speaker comes with built in battery that allows music playback of up to 7 hours. Even without the iPod, you can enjoy FM radio as well. Not only that, it also have the alarm clock and sleep timer features. The best part of this speaker is that it comes with a remote control.
From some of the reviews that I've read, the bass quality is superb with medium volume playback even without a subwoofer. But sound tends to break up at higher volumes. Hmm... you might want to test out the sound quality personally. :)
