Nokia 6300 Review

Written by ImagesLab.net on Wednesday, July 02, 2008

I have blog about the Nokia 6300i some where in March. And I only realize that I did not talk about the Nokia 6300 at all, which happen to be one of my all time favorite phone.

Nokia 6300 is considered as a mid-range candy bar phone that uses the Series 40 3rd Edition as its OS. The Nokia 6300 is a very slim phone, the size is 106 x 44 x 12 mm and weighs only 91g. I personally love the steel plates design as it looks very solid. As for the keypads, the size of every buttons are just nice for the fingers.

No complaint on the display for Nokia 6300, it comes with a 2 inches screen that displays 16.7 million colors. Crisp, clear display I would say. The top side of the phone would be the on/off button while at bottom side, you will find the USB connector (with protecting cap) and 2 slots for charger and 2.5mm audio jack. At the reverse side is the camera and speaker.

Nokia 6300 comes with a 2 mega pixel camera which allows user to capture still photos and video. A bit disappointment on the camera as it doesn't have the auto-focus function, no LED flash and giving users an average quality of picture and video.

The 6300 comes with internal 7.8Mb built in memory. Luckily, it has the expandable memory slot which can support up to 2GB. More than sufficient to store tons of pictures and audio files. The music player is great and it supports MP3, MID, AAC, AAC+, and WMA formats, it also supports A2DP profile. Not forgetting to mention that it has an FM radio too.

Connectivity wise, it has the GPRS, bluetooth, EDGE and USB cable. I won't complain about the lack of 3G as this phone is a mid-range phone as I've mentioned earlier.

If you're looking for a phone simply for making calls and do not need those "high tech" functions like 3G, GPS or even an excellent camera, I PhoneLover would like to recommend you to get the Nokia 6300. A phone that has great design and is easy to operate.
