A must have application "Y-Browser"
Written by ImagesLab.net on Monday, December 03, 2007I love Y-Browser, Y-Browser loves me...
So, what is the Y-Browser I'm talking about?
Y-Browser is an application what can be installed to Symbian phones, it is a file browser application. It's something like window explorer in Window XP.
How does the application look like?
Menu > Applications>Y-Browser
Some of the highlights
When you first select Y-Browser, you will see 4 drives, which are C,D,E, and Z.
C is phone memory
D is so-called ram
E is memory card
Z is ROM
Don't ask me what is ram and ROM in phone, I know nuts about it. haha...
C & E are pretty direct, whatever files that you've saved under these drives can be easily found here.
In E folder which falls under memory card, you'll see all the sub-folders under it and you can also decide how you want your folders to be sort.
You can now view file's properties, delete files, rename files, create new files or new folders at your fingers tips... easy huh?
Another option that I've found out is the "Switch Layout" function. It switches your view from vertical to horizontal. Looks damn cool...
Y-Browser is a MUST have application for your symbian phone; as it really make your files more organized.
I personally rate this application an 8/10. Why so? Simply because the music player can't play in horizontal mode. It only allows you to browse files... maybe the author should do something about this?
