As promised, here's my short review on N82...

Nokia N82 is a power phone which features GPS, 5.0 Megapixeal camera with xenon flash (this is what i'm waiting for). In fact this is the first phone from Nokia with xenon flash, with the auto focus function and its Carl Zeiss optics, you really can take great photos with it.

Here are some pictures that show the comparison between N82 and other phones:

N82 (left) N95(right) - Very obvious that N82 looks better in night shot

Comes to the design of N82, from my individual point of view it looks simple and also has a very metal-ish feeling when you hold it. Do not have joysticks like N73 that allows you push up, down, left and right. Nevertheless, I still prefer the design of my N73 :)

Another highlight of this phone; It comes with Wifi connectivity where you can simply browse websites, downloads, chatting via msn, uploading photos to your own blog and lots more IF you're within the Wifi coverage. I was wondering sitting in a cozy cafe enjoying a cuppa coffee or beverage using N82 to online while others are using their notebook... cool right?

The N82 comes with
a convenient orientation sensor(Motion sensor). I'm sure some of you will ask "what the heck is this?" This sensor will detect how you hold your phone, this sensor rotates the user interface (screen) automatically between horizontal and vertical mode. Whoever that has tried using N95 will know how it looks like. With N95 you will need to set it manually to determine how the interface looks like, but N82 can detect it automatically. How I wish my N73 have this feature too... Argghhh.... !!

I would rate this phone 7/10 for the physical outlook of the phone. Although I think it doesn't look nice overall, I think people will buy this phone because of the great feature it offers. Designed especially for those who love taking pictures.

N82 is available in market now... retail price: RM2399 (Zitron set) / AP: RM1900+
