Samsung i550w - The Music Player
Written by ImagesLab.net on Wednesday, April 30, 2008The music player function looks exactly like other mobile phones running on the Symbian 3rd edition. The shortcut key is located on the right side, just beside the trackball.
The music player looks simple and easy to use. To play tracks just press the trackball. For volume, scroll right to increase the volume and the other way to lower down the volume. Scroll up and down to select next or previous track. Easy?
Let's have a look at some screenshots of the music player and some other functions.
The i550w supports audio formats including MP3, AAC, eAAC+ and WMA. To transfer track to the phone, you can use either the bluetooth, the USB cable or even more "canggih" you can download track from the internet via wifi spot. (I just love the wifi function so much!) Audio quality is okay but it would be greater if the speaker can perform louder. I can't hear the phone ring (with mp3 tones) when I put the phone in my pocket or pouch, I'll need to feel it... yeah feel the vibration. :P
Other than the music player, the i550w is also pre-installed with Real player (remember I view you tube with this?) and Flash player. With the 2.6" large screen display, I personally prefer viewing videos in landscape mode for a better experience.
You can also listen to the radio using the i550w. When you turn the radio on, it will automatically scan and save the stations in your area. The quality of the radio is good and clear enough (stereo) . I especially like the auto tuning part. However, if you prefer, you many choose to save your favorite radio stations.
The only comment I can give is that there are no equalizers and visualization setting like other phones, where you can change the equalizers to enhance the audio quality and visualization for better viewing pleasure (show off perhaps?).
