USB Cable = Charger ?

I've actually discovered that the USB cable can be a charger when I connect it to my laptop's USB port. And all the while I thought the purpose of the USB cable is for transferring data only. Arghh!!
But as soon as I learned about it, I immediately took these 2 pictures by using the camera phone and show it you guys here..jpg)
This is how the USB cable looks like
Yeah, I was fast enough to capture this screen just to show you that the phone is CHARGING.
I admit that I'm quite excited when I found out about this so called "secret". You know what? I still bring the bulky charger to my office last 2 days. Silly me! (face redden) Now I can just leave it at home and bring the USB cable instead to office... I'll no longer be afraid of "low battery" warning again. Yeah!!

all phone with USB port can be charged using USB cable from USB port of PC..

My K800i is chargeable too via the USB cable. But I notice it's much slower than charging using the charger directly. Not sure about Samsung though.

hmmm just tried the USB on my n73. doesn't work on it... haha...
