Samsung G600 Review

Samsung G600 uses a 2.2 inches screen display and with the TFT technology is able of displaying up to 16 million colors. The resolution is still the normal 240x320 pixels. Its screen is big enough and it can show 12 lines of text that is visible simultaneously on the screen.
I am surprised with the sensor keypad because the normal Samsung keypad only has the standard mechanical keypad. I personally feel that with the sensor keypad, the phone looks a tad more stylish. Come to think of the comfort whilst typing sms, I still think is a bit strange without the "button feeling". The big round shape button on the front panel is the navigation button and it’s pretty comfy to use as the size is reasonably large. The backlight for both the keypad and navigation button is in white color.
Samsung did not change much on the user interface compared with its earlier models nonetheless it is still user friendly and easy to operate. The only change in the user interface is that the Samsung G600 allows user to change their themes according to their preference instead using the defaulted themes.
Samsung G600 do not have the 3G connectivity, it only supports EDGE and GPRS.
Talking about the camera, it is attached with a 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and LED flash. It has 5x digital zoom and the max resolution for a photo is 2592 x 1944. Photo quality is acceptable and comparable with the same range of camera phone such as the Nokia N95. It also supports video recording and built in FM radio.
Lastly, the music player supports MP3, WMA, Polyphonic, AMR (Voice Tag), AAC, AAC+, e-AAC+, i- Melody, Midi (SMF), SP-Midi files. In short, the music player can play almost any audio format. With the expandable microSD card up to 2GB, I think you shouldn’t have much or even any complaint on lack of memory.
The G600 will be available in 2 colors, the Samsung G600 silver black and the Samsung G600 Pink.
