Tired of Charging Battery ?

Written by ImagesLab.net on Thursday, January 31, 2008

Have you ever felt frustrated whenever you need your mobile phone the most, the battery died? Honestly, I understand the frustration...

With our current technology, do you think that one day human are capable of producing batteries that never needs recharging?

This piece of information is derived from an article. Some researchers in Germany are developing a type of battery which doesn't need to be recharge. Sounds very advanced and high-tech isn't it? Imagine leaving the troublesome routine chore behind (recharging some silly lithium-ion battery for your gadgets be it the mobile phone, notebook, psp and etc) for good. Life would be so much easier then.

I've got no idea how they are going create this kind of battery or when the product will be available in the market. But one thing I'm sure is with such state of the art technology and expertise, anything is possible. The start of something new always brings the hope of something great; nothing is unachievable. It's just a matter of time.

If you are interested to know how the battery works, you might want to read this particular article.

My Favorite Symbian Applications

Written by ImagesLab.net on Wednesday, January 30, 2008

I've been using a symbian phone for about 4 months now. Ever since I got my N73 Music Edition, I've tried quite a number of its applications. Here are some of my favorites:

Screenshot V2.60
This application allows me to take screen shots of my symbian OS phone in JPEG, BMP, PNG or MBM format. I can then use it to share my themes or applications on forums.

cCam
This is one of the most powerful application (in my opinion). Actually the shutter sound from my phone's camera can't be turned off while taking pictures. But with this application, I can start snapping around without any worries, as the annoying shutter sound would no longer be heard for good. Cool isn't it ?

Slick V0.36
I've previously blogged about this application before, where you can chat using ICQ, Yahoo, AIM, MSN and Google Talk. It's a very useful application as it comes in handy when you're not equipped with your lappy or a PC. I shall repeat (just in case you've missed out on that blog topic) that by using this application, it will cost airtime and may result in charges as it requires GPRS or 3G to connect to the Internet. Unless of course if you are using Wifi.

Y-Browser
This is my all time favorite application. It works something like your regular window explorer. You may explore all the files which you have earlier saved in your phone memory or memory card in seconds. Renaming, deleting and copying files will never be a problem for you any longer.

Auto Lock V1.1
This is very useful for those forgetful (phone) owners that have time and again failing to remember to key lock their phones. You may set the key lock to turn on automatically depending on the timing that you desire.

Adobe PDF Reader
This is an application to view PDF files on your phone. You may download PDF file from your email or you can transfer via bluetooth or save PDF files in your phone memory or memory card.

DivX Player
For those who prefer viewing videos on a symbian phone, this is a must have application. This player actually allows you to playback 320kbps QVGA DivX video at 15fps without any lags. Make sure you get at least the 0.85 version or above.

Alright, I think that's about it. Will share again with all of you if there's any great application releasing soon.

InstFast v0.01

Written by ImagesLab.net on Tuesday, January 29, 2008

Have it ever crossed your mind that after formatting your symbian phone or updating a firmware, you'll need to reinstall back all the themes and applications? And sometimes you're so afraid it might be too troublesome that you decide to go against it in the end?

Now with a new software called InstFast v0.01, you've got absolutely nothing to worry about as there will be no hassle with this problem anymore. Users can actually save their used application or theme in one specific folder and InstFast will install the entire program from the folder without asking for multiple prompts during the course of installation.

In short, what you need to do is just to save all the applications to your memory card before you proceed with formatting or upgrading a firmware and later, with the help of InstFast, you can reinstall all of them back to your phone in just one click. Easy?

Chinese New Year Themes

Written by ImagesLab.net on Monday, January 28, 2008

It's less than 2 weeks time to the lunar new year. As usual I'll get myself a new theme for my phone every festive season...

These are the 2 themes that I really like but I'm still indecisive which one to make use of. Should I choose one and use it for the whole 15 days of Chinese New Year, or should I install two and alternately switching it?

And guess what, I've got myself a good trimming and new hairdo plus a CD album jam-packed with Chinese New Year songs... Haha, I'm so into the new year mood. Hurray !!!

Kingston's Chinese New Year PenDrive

Written by ImagesLab.net on Sunday, January 27, 2008

In conjunction with the Chinese New Year, Kingston has come up with something that goes well with the current festive mood; A 2GB Data Traveler 101 pendrive or thumbdrive whatever you wanna call it.

Given that the year 2008 coincides with the rat zodiac in Chinese calendar, the design of the pendrive is a combination of gold and red color (chinese believe these 2 colors bring tremendous luck and good fortune). On the golden background is a drawing of a rat and Chinese characters “Wu-Zi”, representing the year of 2008. I really like the design.

The highlight of this product is the bonus password protection software. You may set a password to avoid any unauthorized access to your personal files. It also comes with a five year warranty. Sad to say that this pendrive is limited edition and will be available only in the APAC (Asia pacific). Interested??

The price is rumored to be around RM60 but I'm not too sure myself because I haven't seen any shops selling this yet. Any idea where to get this gadget?

Motorola KRZR K3 Vs Sony Ericsson W880i

Written by ImagesLab.net on Saturday, January 26, 2008

The comparison between these phones (Motorola KRZR K3 vs Sony Ericsson W880i) are done based on a request by a friend. He was having problem (related to phone charging) with his previous phone which was the SE W880i and without much hesitation he got himself a new Motorola KRZR K3 phone.

As promised, I'll do a brief review about these phones as well as its pros and cons. I'll begin with the photo images for both the phones...

Motorola KRZR K3 & Sony Ericsson W880i

Motorola KRZR K3

The Motorola KRZR K3 is a 3.5G phone with a 2.0MP camera and is available in two colors, which are Dark Pearl Gray and also Lustrous Stone Gray.

If this model is compared with the preceding versions of RAZR, KRZR K3 is somewhat similar but it has got a more slender body. The face of this phone is glossy and has a reflective finishing while the back battery cover has got a flatter hue. My comment about the physical outlook is that it looks very cool. However the only thing I can't bear is that it's vulnerable to visible fingerprints on its exterior. Other than that, the phone has got a solid body, no shaky or squeaky sound and it's smooth while you're flipping it. This is definitely one of the great design from Motorola.

Okay, now let's look at the functionality of this phone. In the menu, this phone is using 3x4 grid icons. It comes with Yahoo Go on the menu instead of Google which was installed in the older version of phones such as RIZR Z3. The PIM in this device is barely adequate (only calculator and alarm clock), so there's basically not much that you can do. Both these PIM applications are about the same with all the other phones.

The Motorola KRZR K3 comes with a 2.0MP camera without flash (yeah kinda pitiful, not even a LED flash). Flipping open the phone will reveal a VGA camera (secondary camera) located at the bottom right of the screen which are meant for 3G calls. Back to the main camera, it has got a 8x digital zoom and while accessing the camera's setting, users should notice the see-through display where they can actually see whatever they're going to snap behind the settings window on the screen.

In terms of audio, I would say that it comes together with a fine speaker. However for video purposes, I don't think any sane person would want to watch anything with a 2 inches screen size display. For god's sake it's so tiny, your eyes might even popped out halfway. (joking)

Like most phones designed these days, it supports bluetooth but not infrared (who actually cares anymore about infrared?). KRZR K3 is a tri-band device which supports 3G UMTS and 3.5G HSDPA. Wow !! 3.5 G !!

Pros: Solid design and quality, large memory expansion,
two good displays

Cons: Average camera, small screen size for a 3.5G phone,
no flash or auto-focus, face of phone prone to fingerprints

Price: RM1599

Sony Ericsson W880i

SE W880i is the slimmest phone available in the market at present. It is only 9.4mm thick and only 71g. The W880i comes with 3G capability, a 2.0MP camera, and a M2 Memory Stick expansion slot.

This phone has a pleasant appearance plus it is strikingly beautiful with its metallic silver finishing. If you happen to own a Sony Ericsson before, the menu functions would not be a big problem for you at all. Even if you're a new SE user, with such user friendly interface, you'll get used to it very quickly.

W880i comes with a powerful music player called the Walkman Media Player Version. It supports MP3, AAC, AAC+, E-AAC+, WAV, WMA, M4A and MIDI file formats. Sound quality is fine but if you turn the volume to the maximum, you'll sense there's a slight snap sound. If you are looking for great sound quality, heed my advise, go for SE W850.

Other features like Track ID is a program that identifies just about any songs. Just by allowing it to listen to a 5 second clip of any part of a song and it will automatically identify the title and artist of the song. This feature is also available in SE K810i and SE K850i, so there's nothing extraordinarily unique about it.

Camera with only 2.0MP in a SE phone is a waste I would say. Furthermore this camera doesn't have the auto focus function... and so can we bid adieu to sharp pictures eternally... (exaggerated that a wee bit)

Pros: Super slim design, excellent screen, nice user interface & easy to use, powerful music player

Cons: Average camera, no FM radio, poor video quality, small keypad buttons (for me), no infrared, no EDGE

Price: RM1299

Symbian Worm

Written by ImagesLab.net on Friday, January 25, 2008

Got to know about this news in one of the forum I frequently visit. I was shocked when I read this as I'm using a symbian phone. For those who are using Symbian Platform especially S60 2nd Edition phones please take note about this!!!! Phew... luckily mine is the 3rd Edition. I think I'll need to install an antivirus software on my phone soon before anything happens.

FortiGuard Global Security Research Team discovered a new SymbianOS Worm actively spreading on various mobile phone networks. The worm, deemed SymbOS/Beselo.A!worm is able to run on several Symbian S60 2nd Editions devices. These devices include, but may not be limited to, Nokia 6600, 6630, 6680, 7610, N70 and N72 phones.

After an installation phase, the worm engages in a propagation routine: phone numbers located in the contact list of the devices are harvested, and targeted by viral MMS carrying a SIS-packed (Symbian Installation Source) version of the worm. However, the SIS file does not bear a .sis file extension -- rather, it is disguised as a multimedia file with an evocative name: either Beauty.jpg, Sex.mp3 or Love.rm.

Users may know they have been infected if they see unrecognized sent messages in their MMS outboxes. FortiClient Mobile automatically detects and removes the Beselo worm. For users without FortiClient Mobile who believe they may be infected, please contact your mobile carrier or phone manufacturer for technical support in manually removing the virus.

Unlike Microsoft Windows, SymbianOS types files based on their contents and not their extensions, so it is worth noting that recipients of infected MMS would still be presented with an installation dialogue upon "clicking" on the attachment. Therefore, users could easily be deceived by the extension and unknowingly install the malicious piece of software.

In addition to harvesting the numbers stored in the phone address book as mentioned above, the Beselo worm sends itself to generated numbers as well. Interestingly, all those numbers are located in China and belong to the same mobile phone operator. Some of those numbers have been verified to belong to actual customers, rather than being premium service numbers. The whys and hows of such a routine are still under investigation.

Albeit the prevalence of this mobile malware incident is still low, the FortiGuard Global Security Research Team will continue to monitor the situation and update the description with new findings as needed.

Nokia 2600 Classic and Nokia 1209

Written by ImagesLab.net on Wednesday, January 23, 2008

Announcing Nokia's latest phone, the Nokia 2600 Classic and Nokia 1209 that was launched as at yesterday (22/01/2008). These models might not be your love at first sight as it isn't very high-tech compared to phones from the N series range but I trust that Nokia have got its own target market.

This is how the phone looks like...

Nokia 2600 Classic

Specifications:
Date Announced: 2008, 1Q

SMS: Yes
MMS: Yes
Bluetooth: Yes, Ver 2.0
GPRS: Class 10 (4+1/3+2 slots)
Camera: CMOS, 0.3 Megapixel

Nokia 1209

Specifications:
Date Announced: 2008, 1Q
Network Technology: Dual-band EGSM 900/1800
Dimensions (mm): 102 x 44.1 x 17.5 mm
Weight (g): 78.95
Display: CSTN 96 x 68, TFT 65k colors
Ringtones: Polyphonic
MP3: No
FM Radio: No
SMS: Yes
MMS: No
Bluetooth: No
GPRS: No
Camera: No

The Nokia 2600 Classic cost about 65euros. After the conversion it would be approximately RM310. While Nokia 1209 is about 35euros, which is roughly around RM167. Both prices are calculated without including taxes or levies imposed. I still think that both of these phone will still be cheap even after taking in the taxes and whatsoever.

Nokia 2600 classic allows user to customize their phone with colorful covers. I suppose it will be something like Nokia's older version, remember phones such as the 3210 and 3310? It supports mp3 ring tones, fm radio, and a VGA camera with only 0.3MP. (OMG !!)

The second phone that was just launched by Nokia is the 1209. This is an extremely simple phone that comes only with the most basic functions. The only thing you can brag about with this phone is that it supports 80 languages (but what's the point if I can only understand 3 or 4 languages?). If you're planning to get a phone just to make phone calls and sending/receiving sms, then this phone should be in your buy list. Plus the price is really cheap too. This is something young adults can afford to get for their non-tech savvy parents or loved ones.

I can only give comments to the above models based solely on the specifications as the actual phone is not yet available. Both of these models come with very basic functions, which means there is no 3G, no fancy camera, and no memory card support. For me, it would be rather useless. The price actually goes well with its functions; what you pay is what you'll actually get...

p/s: To all phone lover, I'm convinced you'll never even consider this for yourself. Save your money to get a better phone. But like what I've mentioned earlier, it might be a great gift for non-tech savvy relatives or those dearest to you...

How To Take Good Pictures With Camera Phone

Written by ImagesLab.net on Tuesday, January 22, 2008

Every so often, do you hear yourself complaining that even having a 3.2MP camera phone, you still can't capture any nice pictures? Take for example blurred or distorted images? In this topic, I'm going to share my own experience on how to take good pictures with a camera phone. To those interested, read on as I'll be providing a few useful information.

Nowadays nearly all camera phones in the market has the option to set its "image quality" for instance to 0.3M, 2M or 3M or even 5M, if you happen to own a 5.0MP camera phone. Always set this to the max as this will give you better quality photos. Some selected phone comes with the option to set its "resolutions", set this to as high as possible to get better quality images. Also make sure that you are using the right setting such as close up (macro mode), portraits or scenery mode. Please make sure the distance of your target object is not too far from your position. I've got no detailed explanation for this as it's based from my own experience. You might want to try it to find out.

Miraculously, I've never for once use the "zoom" function at all. I know a lot of people tend to stand a little further from the object and then use the zoom function to bring the object nearer. Please, please do not do this. I can guarantee the picture taken with and without using zoom has a great deal of difference. The latter will be clearer compared to the picture with zoom.

Normally for one same picture, I have a habit of taking at least 3 to 5 shots with different settings such as changing the white balance and exposure or different scene mode for the same object. This is because the result of the pictures will be slightly different when you are viewing it from your computer. Do you think a photographer take only 1 shot with their model and straightaway use it for the publication of a magazine cover? No they don't, because they'll take quite a number of it before finally choosing the best to feature in a magazine cover or an ad. So, spend some time to take a few shots of the same object; it won't cost you a single cent. :)

Lighting also plays an important element in photo shooting. Ensure the place where you're going to take pictures has sufficient lightings and avoid dark or places with dim lights or you'll end up with poor quality pictures. Last tip, this skill will call for some practice. When capturing pictures, your hands mustn't be shaky, if you find that its hard to stop your hands from shaking, try to lean on a wall to get more steady hands. In addition, never move your phone immediately after capturing when your phone is previewing the picture. Wait a few seconds for the image to 'stabilize'. So, do practice more as only with practice your skills can be perfected.

Mobile photography is meant to provide convenience because you can take pictures without bringing out another digital camera. However for special events like wedding or graduation ceremony pictures, I will advice you to use a digital camera or even better a dslr camera for better end results.

Turn Your Mobile to WebCam?

Written by ImagesLab.net on Sunday, January 20, 2008

Have you ever thought of turning your mobile phone camera into a web cam? Don't think its quite possible?

Let me introduce you to a software called Mobiola Screen Capture (S60v3) v2.5. This software is currently available in the market now. The bad news is, it doesn't come for free (you need to pay a small sum in order to use) and the trial version only allows a single connection up to 5 minutes and 7 days evaluation period.

Features:
- Using mobile phone's camera as web camera
- Connects to phone via bluetooth or USB cable
- Compatible with MSN Messenger, Skype, Yahoo Messenger & etc

Cool isn't it? This also simply meant that you are now carrying a web cam wherever you go and you can connect to any laptop or pc anywhere, anytime.

The requirement is very minimal where you only need 8 MB of free disk space on PC, 68kb of free phone memory and 720kb of run time memory.

*Note: This software only works with Symbian S60v3 phones (phone models listed below)
(Nokia 3250, Nokia 5500 Sport, Nokia 6110 Navigator, Nokia 6120 Classic, Nokia 6121 Classic, Nokia 6290, Nokia e50, Nokia e51, Nokia e61, Nokia e61i, Nokia e65, Nokia e70, Nokia e90, Nokia n71, Nokia n73, Nokia N75, Nokia n77, Nokia n80, Nokia n80i, Nokia n81, Nokia n82, Nokia n91, Nokia n92, Nokia n93, Nokia n93i, Nokia N95)

HTC Touch

Written by ImagesLab.net on Saturday, January 19, 2008

The HTC Touch is a stylish and small PDA phone that makes full use of its touch screen technology. Presently, majority consumers assume that PDA phones are complicated to use. The thought of learning how to use it would put off many in the first place. However you need not fret as the HTC Touch comes with user friendly functions.

Let me show you the specifications of this gadget;

Processor: TI's OMAP™ 850, 201 MHz
Operating System: Windows Mobile® 6 Professional
Memory: ROM: 128 MB
SDRAM: 64 MB DDR
Dimension: 99.9mm (L) X 58mm (W) X 13.9mm (T)
Weight: 112g with battery
Display: 2.8" LCD touch screen with backlight, 240 X 320 dots resolution with 65,536 colors
Network: GSM/GPRS/EDGE Tri-band: 900, 1800, 1900 (The device will operate on frequencies available from the cellular network.)
Device Control: HTC TouchFLO™ , 5-Way navigation control
Connectivity: Bluetooth® 2.0, Wi-Fi® IEEE 802.11 b/g , HTC ExtUSB™ (11-pin mini-USB and audio jack in one)
Camera: 2.0 Megapixel CMOS color camera
Audio: Built-in microphone and 3-in-1 speaker
Support:Windows Media Player supported formats: AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, MP3, WMA, WAV, QCELP, MPEG4, AMR-NB, AMR-WB
Battery: Rechargeable Li-Ion battery , Capacity: 1100 mAh
Standby time: Up to 200 hours
Talk time: Up to 5 hours
Expansion Slot: MicroSD™ memory card (SD 2.0 compatible), 1GB card included
Price: RM1899 (Price may vary from stores)

I'll begin with its exterior. The front panel is dominated by the 2.8" 65K color touchscreen TFT display, so there will be no issue with surfing the net through WiFi. There's a sim card slot (on the right side) for you to insert the sim card and the slot for MicroSD slot is just beside it. At the bottom side of the phone is where the USB port, the microphone pinhole and the reset hole is located.

This is how the main screen looks like.

Since the HTC Touch is designed to be an entirely touch screen device, there are only 3 shortcut keys available. With the new TouchFlo system, users can choose between using the touch pen or to use their finger to tap/drag across the screen. However it is advisable to use the touch pen as using fingers are a little cumbersome when it comes to fiddling with the settings as certain dropdown selection can appear unreasonably tiny.

Tapping on the "Start" menu will bring up a window that displays Excel Mobile, PowerPoint Mobile, Word Mobile as well as other functions such as Internet Explorer and File Explorer on the screen. Functions like notes, calendar, messaging and contacts is not something new as PDA with Window OS would have these similar applications. This gadget comes with 2 default games which are BubbleBreaker and Solitaire (boring games).

The TouchFLO technology (showing a 3D view of the menu).

I believe a 2.0 Megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom would be sufficient for a PDA phone. First downside; the viewfinder is slightly slow in showing response to the direction the lens was pointed at. This phone supports bluetooth and WiFi but it doesn't have infrared (who cares?) and 3G. Second disadvantage; Oh man, how can a phone "survive" without 3G these days??

Other than the flaws mentioned above, this device score slightly above average especially with TouchFLO that provides user friendly handling of this phone. With such reasonable pricing, there's nothing much we can expect from it though it will definitely be a hit in the market with its appealing design.

My Rating:
Build quality: 7/10
Interface: 7/10
Value-for-money: 8/10
Overall rating: 7.5/10

Chinese New Year

Written by ImagesLab.net on Friday, January 18, 2008

Christmas atmosphere has come to an end and it's the same for New Year's mood as well. Time really flies! It's about time for the Chinese to be geared up for the Lunar New Year which will fall on 7th February 2008 (about 3 weeks from now).

Referring to the Chinese calendar, the animal zodiac presiding this year is the "rat".

Have you send out all your warm greetings to family and friends? Still think it's too early to write those cards and fix its stamps? In fact I've already received a few greeting cards from my friends and colleagues. If you think it's too much a hassle to send your wishes through snail mail, you can always consider going green and send e-cards or sms instead.

Although sending text messages is quicker, simpler and totally effortless, at times it can appear to your recipient that your wishes are not truly sincere. Most recipients usually read the message and then hit the button for trash bin. Well... I do send wishes (but rarely) in the form of text messages though it's usually for the sake of replying to a greeting's text sent by my friends.

I don't know why but I have always preferred the old way of sending out physical cards (typical china man mind-set). It gives me the impression of being appreciated above all. Imagine the effort of the sender, spending their time to pen down their heartfelt wishes and their willingness to go all the way to the post office just to have it mailed to me. It's so touching... (Okay enough about my soft side).

Consider doing your shopping early as it's pretty congested out there on the roads and crammed at the malls. Enjoy yourself shopping for Chinese New Year!

Slick V0.36

Written by ImagesLab.net on Thursday, January 17, 2008

There's this new application called "Slick" (version 0.36) that I got for my phone today. Basically Slick's purpose is mainly for chatting; that is MSN, ICQ, Yahoo messenger and many more.

The latest version of Slick V0.36 features:

  • Supported protocols: ICQ, Yahoo, AIM, MSN, Google Talk, Jabber
  • Text messaging
  • Emoticons
  • Alerts - sound, backlight, vibration, notify window displaying number of new messages
  • Group and buddy management (add, delete, rename)
  • Message history
  • File transfer - send and receive files
  • Sending / receiving offline messages

  • Let's see how Slick looks like...

This is the account setting screen whereby you are required to enter your user name and password to login. Right after login, you will be able to view your friends list that shows the online and offline groups.

You can also proceed to this screen where you can perform advance configuration on your friends list, message alert and also to switch to other protocol such as ICQ and G Talk.

It works the same way like the MSN messenger you have in your PC. You can also change your status if you're "avoiding" someone. Smiley icons are available as well, cool huh?

Not only that! The coolest features I found on this application is that you can even send files to your online buddies. It's as simple as ABC. Just search for the file in your phone memory or memory card, then select the file that you want to send, and that's it! You're done!

You may download the file here.

    System Requirement: · Symbian S60 3rd edition · Symbian S60 1st/2nd edition · Symbian UIQ 3.0 · Symbian UIQ · Pocket PC 2003, SmartPhone 2003 · Windows Mobile 5, 6

    Lingerie Fair

Last weekend I went to this shopping mall in town where I intend to do some early Chinese New Year shopping. While passing by its anchor tenant (a hypermarket), there's this unusual decor that caught my attention and I find it very amusing.

We usually see colorful balloons tied up beautifully with different shades of bright ribbons, adorable teddy bears, attractive flowers and such. But how often do we actually come across seeing bra and panty being coupled with balloons as a decor? Well take a look at these snapshots...

I wonder where they got their inspiration from. The idea certainly gets me on my thinking cap and it kind of made me speechless for a moment. So next time, if you are ever out of home improvement or party enhancement ideas, you can always consider using this combo. Hahaha...

    Jabra BT125

Just recently got myself a new "toy". Can you still remember my post a few days back where I mentioned about getting myself a new Bluetooth headset? Quite indecisive at first but well, at last I've gotten myself a Jabra BT125.

The box looks something like this...

    The package comes with,
    1 x Jabra BT125 Bluetooth Headset,
    1 x User Manual,
1 x AC power adaptor, and
    a Warranty card.

Since it's a new one, I’ll need to charge it for no less than 2 hours before I can test out the headset's quality. So to kill some time while waiting for it to be ready, I flipped through the instruction manual for its specification and to check out whether there are any other special functions.

    Specification:
    Battery - Rechargeable lithium polymer
    Bluetooth version 2.0 specifications
Operating range - Up to 10 metres (30 feet)
Talk time - Up to 8h (subject to phone)
    Stand-by time - Up to 170h
Charging time - Approximately 2 hours
    Weight - 14 g.

    Supported Special features:
    • Answer/end call
    • Voice dialing*
    • Reject a call*
    • Put a call on hold*
    • Call waiting*
    • Last number redial*

    *Phone dependent

Okay, it is now time for me to test out the headset. First of all, I really like the design and its color. It is also obviously very light; weighing only at 14g! After that, I tried to make an outgoing call and I was rather surprised with the voice quality. The voice on the other line seems loud and clear. Superb! It feels comfortable and it fitted perfectly on my ear due to the light weight and adjustable hook.

The only thing I can't stand would be the volume button. It is very tiny and too flat and most people would have a hard time adjusting the volume if they’re not quite use to it. This may not be seen as a major problem as users can always opt to adjust the headset volume to the max and then using their mobile phone to turn the volume down.

Up to this point, I find this bluetooth headset satisfactory. There is nothing exceptionally bad for me to find fault with, therefore, it is highly recommended!
