Slick V0.36
Written by ImagesLab.net on Thursday, January 17, 2008There's this new application called "Slick" (version 0.36) that I got for my phone today. Basically Slick's purpose is mainly for chatting; that is MSN, ICQ, Yahoo messenger and many more.
The latest version of Slick V0.36 features:
Let's see how Slick looks like...
This is the account setting screen whereby you are required to enter your user name and password to login. Right after login, you will be able to view your friends list that shows the online and offline groups.
You can also proceed to this screen where you can perform advance configuration on your friends list, message alert and also to switch to other protocol such as ICQ and G Talk.
It works the same way like the MSN messenger you have in your PC. You can also change your status if you're "avoiding" someone. Smiley icons are available as well, cool huh?
Not only that! The coolest features I found on this application is that you can even send files to your online buddies. It's as simple as ABC. Just search for the file in your phone memory or memory card, then select the file that you want to send, and that's it! You're done!
You may download the file here.
System Requirement: · Symbian S60 3rd edition · Symbian S60 1st/2nd edition · Symbian UIQ 3.0 · Symbian UIQ · Pocket PC 2003, SmartPhone 2003 · Windows Mobile 5, 6
**Kindly take note that using this application will cost airtime and may result in charges as it requires GPRS or 3G to connect to the internet. Unless you are using Wifi. Please check with your service provider on the charges before proceeding. :)
Enjoy ya!!
